How do I put an image in my post?

Q: How do I put an image in my post?
A: Firstly, your image must be hosted somewhere on the internet. You can NOT host an image on your hard drive. CBRWorld can host bike-related images (for more info click here).

Once your image is hosted, use the IMG tag with the URL address of your hosted image in the text of your post. For example:

[ img ]http://cbrworld.net/upload/images/img2867_3448.jpg[ /img ] (no spaces within the IMG tag) produces this:

NOTE:  Some sites (e.g. geocities) do not allow hotlinking of their URLs.  Sotit possible that you can have the right syntax but it still won't work.

CBRWorld Tip 3 - Posting pictures is EASY !

With this new version of the forum, you can also put images in you post with the following methods.

You can either attach the image to the post (and it won't show immediately, people will have to download it to view it) or, much easier if you have it already uploaded somewhere on the net:

    1) Right-click on the image and choose Copy.
    2) In the post editor,  paste it ! (menu Edit-> Paste or press Ctrl + V on you keyboard)

In certain forums, CBRWorld Supporters can also attach pics (up to 64kb) in their posts.  If you are a Supporter, there will be an Attachment field in the posting interface.  This feature is only available to CBRWorld Supporters.  If you are not a CBRWorld Supporter, here's how you can become one.
