Q: Can I host my image on CBRWorld.net?
A: Unfortunately, our server is limited on space. Therefore, you'll have to find another server to host your image. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Q: I have my image hosted on a server, how do I setup my avatar??
A: You must be logged in to the CBRWorld forum. Click on the Control Panel link at the top of the page. Fill in the URL for your avatar. Note that there are size restrictions placed on your avatar image.
Q: Are there any restrictions to any images I use in my avatar?
A: Any image is allowed as long as it complies with the CBRWorld Posting Guidelines.
NOTE: any avatar that is deemed by the Moderation team as inappropriate for CBRWorld may be removed without warning!
Q: How do I animate my avatar?
A: Animated gifs are a series of pics that are shown in succession to give the appearance of animations. There are many software products out there to create your own animated gif. Try doing a search on the web to find such products.
NOTE: Animated images are generally large in size. Please do not have a large file size for your avatar as it will take a long time to load. As a result, any thread with that avatar will also take a long time to load.
Q: Is there a size restriction for avatars?
A: Avatars are limited to 80 x 80 pixels. If you're avatar is not 80x80 then it will be resized to such. To avoid any proportion issues, make sure you avatar is square (i.e. x by x instead of x by y).
