This forum/board is not actively moderated, however we do passively moderate (delete/move messages if the rules are broken). We have a very simple (and somewhat liberal) set of rules which we expect every poster to follow. The webmaster reserves the right to remove your right to post (permanently) should you repeatedly abuse these simple rules. This is a free service, don't ruin it for everyone else. All IP addresses are recorded. Have a complaint about a particular poster? Let us know, don't do it on the forums.
Admins will move/delete/ban without warning. We don't make money out of this, we don't plan to. We started this to share good info and experiences on sportbikes (specifically on CBRs), we do not need members who don't understand we're all here either to learn, or to pass on whatever we learned. We are here to share the passion of riding these sportbikes, not to prove the world how stupid someone behind a keyboard with too much free time can be.
So...
Be civil - anyone being abusive, calling names or generally trying to stir up trouble will not be tolerated. If you think someone is wrong it may be because they are new, don't jump on them, think first. If you are repeatedly abusive you will be banned from these forums.
New posters - Before you ask a question please check to see if someone else has asked it before at least in the last few posts.
Site questions / comments - Please check our FAQ Section first, you may have a question which has already been answered. If not, send us feedback, don't post site questions in the forums.
Question for the webmaster - DO NOT POST "Question for Phil" or "Phil,..." messages, the webmaster doesn't have time to scan through or respond to all the forums. Just use the Site Suggestions section.
For Sale - We don't allow for sale messages (at all) except in the For Sale section. Those posts will "accidentally" get deleted with no prior warning.
Commercial advertising - Commercial website linking or advertising is not allowed, if you wish to advertise on the site contact us. If you wish to post about your company, post ONCE either in the "For Sale" section if you're selling something specific, or in one of the Links sections.
SPAM - Anyone posting the same (or similar) message more than twice in any of the forums.
Flame / Attacks - We do not tolerate abusive, malicious, personal attacks or self-promoting messages. See first rule.
Trolls - Anyone deliberately antagonizing other forum users by posting 'flame bait' type messages or basically inserting too much "noise" on this board are not welcome. See first rule.
Bashing - Deliberately and repeatedly bashing the same brand, product service or company will get you banned. If you have a complaint or comment to make then make it once and make sure you have facts to support it. See first rule.
Bumping - Deliberately 'bumping' your message back to the top of the forum with no new content.
Posting several pictures - If you're posting several pictures post then all in one message or post a link to a gallery. Posting several messages with just one image in each in a short period will be treated as SPAM - deleted.
XXX / Nude / Bikini pictures - No nude or XXX pics allowed. With bikini type pictures, please use appropriate discretion when embedding such images in your messages. If you wish to bring a gallery of such images to peoples attention then please just post a link. We will not allow nude / semi-nude pictures of children or links to such galleries.
Voyeuristic pictures - We do not allow posting of voyeur pictures.
Software piracy - We do not allow the posting of serial numbers, cracks, warez links or anything related to the piracy of software.
Legal ownership - Each message posted is owned by and the opinion of the original poster. Neither CBRWorld.Net nor its owners or webmaster are legally responsible for anything posted on these forums.

Some other notes about posting:
- There is obviously some gray area where your topic can fall into more than one category, just pick one but don't post in both. One of them will get deleted.
- If you're post can fall into one or more categories, pick the more general one to give it more exposure. For example,
I have a fuel problem with my F4i could fall into F4i or Troubleshooting. Posting it in Troubleshooting will give it more exposure and increase the chances of getting positive feedback because a very mechanically-inclined member may not read the F4i section.
- All classified ads not posted in the classified section will get moved. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Don't advertise for your classified ad in other sections. Those posts will get deleted.
- If you post gets moved, it will be moved to the most general section possible. For example,
What is the best rearsets for my F4i? can fall under F4i or Modifications. It will be moved to Modifications.
