yeah I have the 05 repsol as well. I actually bought it because I thought it was unique. If they release it again for 07 in America, it won't be as unique and they will be popping up everywhere. Either way it still looks great. Almost tepted to trade my 05 in for the new 07.

I feel the same way.... I was honda Web-site and i was think to do the trade. I've done alot of work on my repsol.... The repsol was to replace the erion that came out every 4 year. The problem that i had with the 05 was that the swingarm was not black also... The erion came with a black frame and black swingarm, but the regual 929 came with the black frame and silve swingarm... The 07 repsol has a silve frame and silve swingarm.... If I wanted to be ghetto I would buy the basic 07 and get the repsol plastic. The basic 07 colors come with a black swingarm and frame...

Do you know how the laser extreme exhuast lookssssssss. It's fits right under the undertail perfectly. It kind of look like a stock exhaust. I tried to keep the bike looking stock ....

Honda is gradually correcting their website.  The pics they're using for the 1000 Repsol, I believe are of the '05 model (black instead of blue), but they now state the colors as blue/orange/red/white.

I'd love to get my hands on one, but I can't yet justify the expense.  Too many mods and too much money invested in the F4i to get rid of it yet.  Plus, the F4i is gradually getting the everyday gravel chips and such.  I'd be afraid to ride the Repsol 1000 for fear of flawing such a beautiful paint scheme.

Also, a question.  What kind of tires are on the Repsols?  The tread pattern looks like a Metzeler Racetec.

The tires are similar to the Racetec but no equal, if you look at my photos this are the tires that I have in my bike (K1 front and K2 rear) and looking the 2007 repsol black model you can see the little difference.

i think that scheme is freakin sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.  I like last years repol edition too ( or was that two years ago ?).....either way, its nice.

my gear does match hahaha i had to, so i bought a repsol replica helmet, repsol jacket, and joe rocket nova orange gloves, cause the orange matched the best other than that, it's in the works right now, got the colors, and instead of having just a normal repsol bike, we are making some changes such as pearl flakes, hey why not? it deserves to shine and stand out. other changes are subtle but should be noticeable
