    Would you keep riding?

Hey girls!  I have a question for all of you. Seems some of the boys on here are contemplating giving up riding and that started me thinking.

Would you girls give up riding if you found out you were pregnant? I mean, would you ride for another month or two or would quit riding the second you found out? I know Brazen rides and she already has kids, but what if you found out you had a little CBR rider in the oven? Would you stop?

ATTENTION! NO, I am not pregnant!   I repeat... NOT PREGNANT!

I know riding is dangerous, and even a little more so for me since I am still learning. However, I think I would ride for the first month or two. Of course, you can't hold me to that because, obviously, feelings might change once I was actually pregnant.

I'm just wondering what you girls "might" do.

(besides, this section of the board is dead, maybe this will wake it up a little)

    OK.... DISCUSS!!!!!

funny thing.. I was thinking the same thing last week. (not pregnant either!!).   I think I would ride for the first few months.  I'm not sure if I'd ride once I had the baby though.  I know nothing about having a child, but every mother I know is very protective of their baby and wouldn't do anything crazy.

I don't know... tough call.  I'd probably be back on the bike after a couple of weeks :)  That's just me.

I'm fairly new to this site and thought I would respond on this one...........no I'm not pregnant either but I do have two daughters already. (my girls are 11 and 13)  I didn't have my license when I was pregnant but I really can't see any reason why I wouldn't have kept riding.  My husband had his license and I was only a passenger at the time and I rode with him until I could no longer wear HIS leathers (I had outgrown mine, hehehe).  After our girls got to be older we decided that I should get my license so that we could all go out riding together.  Now I do take our oldest daughter out on rides with us but it took me a few years to feel confident enough to carry her as a passenger.

I may not be the best in the world to ask since I never want kids.  Not in my game plan, and no, I'm not changing my mind.  But I don't see anything wrong with riding for at least a few months, still.  As long as you're not too big to be able to comfortably navigate things, it's not really any less safe than driving or flying or being out in public in general.  hehe

    Re: Would you keep riding?

I'd have to say that I think I would keep riding as long as I could "fit" on my bike!  I'm single and definately not pregnant but it could also depend on my man, if he WASN'T a rider, it may be tough to convince him it would still be ok for me to ride!
