It looks great, especially for a first timer! The clickable albums are the highlight, I think. More words to go with the pics would be nice, but then you'd be giving it all away! It's more fun to sit back and look them over to find all the new/different parts and all the work that goes into them.

nice job for the first time... the site has clean colors and gets across what you do.If your looking for a critique, id make the top links into a bar so the links dont constantly shift on you in different resolutions. you can make one with all the names in something like a photoshop and then use area hotspots in frontpage for the links. the pictures you should probably put borderlinecustomcycle or borderlinecustomcycle.com slighlty transparent on the lower right corner of each fullsize pic. that way if someone takes a pic off your site and someone sees it somewhere else. they know who did the work or how to look you up in case they like what they see. others might just try to take the pic to say it was theres. not honest but it happens. Bits and peices, stunt rides, race bikes, sponsorships, coming soon; all have new page 2 for a title, might want to change that to match the page.  the hit counter doesnt work. on the contact info page use some tables to seperate the email addy pics and what not on a lower resolution they shift. basically tables are you re friend... i noticed you used frames fron the top to a main page. very good work man. i wasnt trying to be mean with any of that, just what i noticed at a glance, keep up the good work it really looks nice just needs some polish.

very helpfull all good suggestions to..it took me forever to get to that point so im gonna take a break from it for a while then il go back in and tweek the things you mentioned,i dont take it as being mean at all ,,when you do *** like that and ask for a critic ya gota be willing to listen to it all with an open mind,,thanks

i didnt know the links were shifting in resolutions,i considerd the water mark ,,but im not too concerned with anyone taking my pics or using them for whatever ,,personally i haet water marks it ruins a good pic if you want to save it .But good point about when others see it theyl know its me ,,but they'd just do what i do ,,and crop out the water mark so ou can look at the pic .  thanks again

yeah youll always have those in life that plagerize(sp?), and as far as people just doing what you do... nah .. i can paint, but im not all that good. when i look for a quality job to get done i take it to someone who has alot more skill then me. painting is an art, not everyone can do what you do with such quality. as far as testing the site for diff resolutions to see it shifting.. just change the size of the browser window(not minimize but the other button on the top right, then resize the window), and youll see the shift. when you come back from taking a break if you have any probs or need a helpful suggestion, let me know. if i dont know the answer there are others around here that might.

    Re: my site -borderline cycle

Nice lookin site!  Really some nice looking projects in there!  Really impressive for a first timer.

Kind of off topic, and dont answer if you dont want, but how's business? I've been planning (well, more like thinking heavily right now) about starting a custom sportbike shop when in a few years, once I'm out of school and can save up some cashola and have a few more projects under my belt Big Smile [:D].  Just wondering how you do business wise, I mean I dont really know what the demand is for this kind of stuff, but it seems pretty heavy to me, which is why I thought it would be a good business to start (well, plus I love doing it!)

Keep up the good work though, maybe I'll take a road trip up to bc some time this summer (my buddies canadian, so hes always down for any trips to canada - you guys are oddly patriotic... lol.)  have to come check some of your stuff out.

    Re: my site -borderline cycle

buisness is ok ,,im still at the point of dumping all my money back into to the shop all the time ,,maybe next year i can start building a nest egg. Youd think the sport bike cusomt crowd was bigger but not up here ,,arent ready for it yet ,,,if this was england youd be fighting with 10 other shops over customers.

as far as the patriotic canadain crap ..my family is all  from georgia and florida,,i could care less where i am ,,its what i do that defines me ,,not my surroundings.

    thanks for looking

im at the vancouver bike show with my first booth right now ,,its a great response .
