It's a 4 speed actualy. I was there when it was purchased 2 years ago( some one had to ask questions, and my mother wasnt sure what she wanted), and I've been riding it for 3 weeks. I have checked the milage twice. first time 125 miles to a 2 gallon fill up( not much range). Second time was 127 miles to a 2 gallon fill up. I expect the milage to improve just a bit( maybe not even noticable)since at 600 miles the engine hasen't fully broke in yet. I was only hoping for 50 mpg. So i am more than suprised, and pleased since i've got a 30 mile drive round trip to work each day.

commuting on a VLX600 shadow for now, 60MPG!!! I punched out the baffles, so it has that V-twin snap and crackle that made H/D so infamous. Except this little scute is rice powered!!lol
and once in a while a 98 gold wing, its a scarey fast 2 wheeled yacht!!
