Hi all, i am new here. I scored this 929rr pretty cheap:

my problem with it was the pervioes owner (a very dumb kid) he lost the keys and key code.  He did take the ignition to a lock smith and got a new key made but after i rode it home and went to open the tank the key broke off in side the tank.  After taking the cap appart to get the key out i  realized why the tank would'nt open (white corrision on the entire underside of the fuel cap)...so i need a kew cap also. (going keyless)

now i went to the dealer and they said they could order me a new set of keys if i get them my key code.  the manual says its on the ignition.  so i took all the locks apart, cap and seat lock also and found the ignition said 1CE, gas cap lock says 1CE and seat lock says 1CC.

is that a real key code? i dont feel like buying a entire lockset which is only $200 but i will if i have to.

I'm sure since this is an old post that you have it figured out but I will explain it anyways. The key code is on the inside of the ignition. To get to it you have to take out the ignition all the way, you will have to hammer in I believe it was a 12mm socket into the housing to get to the bolts that hold it on. This is a anti-theft fix all they do it bend the metal ignition housing around the bolt heads after they install the two bolts. Once you have the ignition out you will find a code its about 14 numbers long, been over 2 years since I've had to do it so bare with. Either way it's not hard and it's a lot cheaper then a lock set.
