    A Good Backpack??

I ride about fifty miles a day, and often need to transport extra clothing and other items.  I'd like to buy a tailbag soon, but also am looking for a better backpack.  Does anyone have a comfortable, useful backpack for riding that they are just in love with?  I'm looking for suggestions on brand names and/or styles of bags...

I got a Targus back pack for my lap top, it has exta padding in the straps and pading on the back panel for the extra weight. And its got like dozens of pockets . It has exta room so you can put reg. stuff  in and you laptop. If you dont take the pc then there is double the room. I got it for my lap top with out thinking about the bike, then one night i needed to carry some stuff so I grabed it . found out it made a great bike pack too! Got mine at  Best Buy, it was like 35 bucks. It  is so comfortable  you forget it is there!!

commuting on a VLX600 shadow for now, 60MPG!!! I punched out the baffles, so it has that V-twin snap and crackle that made H/D so infamous. Except this little scute is rice powered!!lol

bug out bag from pier gear. you can make it bigger and smaller and also has a waist belt and one across your chest to make sure its secure. they come with plenty of space to make it a day or two. well i like my bag not the prettiest bag around but they more than stood the test of iraq with me. so i think they are good.

When I am leaving the house with gear I use my Cortech backpack. It's got some neat features and has a fold out helmet bag to keep from knicking up your lid when it's not on your head. It's also a great way for me to carry a second helmet when I am going to pickup my wife for a ride.

For quick errands I keep one of those drawstring backpacks under the pillion seat. It's great for things you don't want to bother getting the cargo net out for.
