    Blueant Interphone (alternative to Chatterbox)

I just recently got a pair of above mentioned Blueant Interphones, and just wanted to say that so far so good. I have only used them as an intercom (between rider and passenger) and it worked great, it was a 5~6 hr round trip and they worked!! (around 80 plus wind was about as fast as you could go, mainly because the microphone picked up the wind noise)

I have not managed to try it between 2 bikes yet, but it should be good up to at least 490 feet.

The only problem that I can see to be annoying is that you can only be connected with 1 person at the time.

Also, since it uses Bluetooth it works as a hand free for your phone, and that works awesome!!

random links if you don't know what I'm talking about:

    Original website
    Youtube video (Original commercial?)
The cheapest place i have found to purchase it online I have purchased form them before.

Edit: i went riding today.... and the wind noise is not from the other persons mic..... it is just the wind..... i guess that i did not notice it before because i was not listening to hear anyone

Looks pretty cool. I assume that the "kit" is only one unit and a second one has to be purchased for the other rider?

I like the fact that it can be paired with my phone. It may be something I look into for my wife. She has complained before that we can't communicate other than hand signals while riding.

Yes, you need 2 of them for it to work.

By kit I guess that they just mean the content of the box: Adheasive mounting brakate, vice like mounting brakate (with optional spacer), instruction manual, wall charger, main unit and the microphone/headphone unit (and a couple velcro pads to secure the headphone in place))

I love the phone option, I have used it several times (and even though I cannot hear myself talk, i'm told that it is pretty clear). in comming calls are really easy to answer, just press the button on the main unit. If your phone has voice dialing, it can use that (i used it ofr the first time last week and it was much better than pulling off to the side to dial) but regardless it is a million times better than stopping, taking off helmet and then calling!!
