    sidewards' custom F2rr

I bought this 93 CBR F2 from a friend last year for $300 after he wrecked it. I converted it to a streetfighter and rode it until winter. I decided it was too mild and started hacking and grinding (in a precise kind of way). "Finished" it this july, kinda suck loosing all that riding time but the stares and questions are cool. People bother me like crazy at the gas station.
    half assed to ride:

more chopping and hacking before the winter:

    "finished" product:

not completely done but I'm not messing with it anymore until the snow flies. I enjoy riding it too much.

im def a fan of the visible subframe. shorter tail is nice though a passenger seat wouldnt have been a bad idea to take the ladies for a spin. one question though, where the hell is your battery?? oh, n how much quicker does that thing fall into corners w/ all the extra swingarm angle?
    Naked 93' F2...... RIP -- 04/12/07
04' 600RR Black - currently stuck between track and street usage
    - Brembo Master, Sato's, & Ohlins out back

Thanks. The (full size) battery is in the tail. The wiring harness is stripped down to the essentials and follows the top tube of the subframe. My g/f is terrifide to ride on the bike so no need for another seat. The extra rake is just what this bike needed , falls right into corners. The pilot power race tires help too.

streetfighters are less install and more clean removal. their are no gauges, idk about the legality of this but thats a streetfight for ya.

    real nice bike man

    Re: sidewards' custom F2rr

Thanks, for the nice comments. ecd is right. streetfighters are about stripping your bike down to the bare necessities. I do have a speedo, it's a sigma sport bicycle unit that is backlit and accurate to 150mph. Headlights are the main expense of the conversion. aztec8 lights are pretty popular, acerbis lights are also popular but overdone and give poor light output. Just tear that bike apart and grind and cut until your satisfied. Don't be afraid to fabricate your own parts, its neccesary and cheap. I have around $1k in my bike. You and your angle grinder will become best friends.

did you use an f4i shock to raise the seat up that high? im 5' 8" and want to do the shock but am wondering if ill still be able to flat foot after it

    Re: sidewards' custom F2rr

No, I don't think the f4i shock will even fit a 600rr swing arm. Its a 1000rr shock. I adjusted the tail height of the bike by the position that I welded on the mounts for the lower link.

Hi nice bike bro how easy was it to fit that swingarm? does it use standard 600f wheel or the 600rr brakes ect.i would like to do that to mine so any help or advise would be great ;)

    Re: sidewards' custom F2rr

I was just wondering how hard was it to paint your frame and engine? What would I have to do if I wanted the frame and the engine black?
