well on the way home, at night, i saw that my lights were dimming. also, the bike started to jerk...like push starting it, right before it catches. barely made it home. the next day, i go to start it and the battery is dead. so now i'm 1000% sure its electrical. i pull up the seat to attach the battery charger and notice the positive cable is loose at the battery. a quick couple of turn of the wrench and back in business.
glad it wasnt anything serious(expensive).

so driving along on the expressway, when i hit a bump, the speedo drops. i maintain speed and RPM's, but the speedo drops from 60 to 40(approx) and then right back up to 60. it doesnt do this at lower speeds though....say cruising at 40 mph. the bike doesnt handle any different when it happens. at first, i thought of a possible connection problem to the speedo, but when i purposely hit bigger bumps at lower speeds, it doesnt happen.
any ideas?
