putting a cbr 900 engine in a 94 cbr600f2. Can it be done?

The thought came to me (uh oh, watch out) that if I could put a CBR 900 engine in my 600 F2 it would be a beast and a half.  I know there is a certain degree of difficulty with this if it can be done but I wanted to know what the community thought. If anyone knows anything about this let me know.  Maybe my project for the winter down time.

ya its already been done. a guy posted quite a bit about his bike.. F2 w/ 900RR engine, single sided swingarm, and a pair of extended 900RR USD forks as well. with some good searching, u should be able to find it on here. as for actually fitting the engine in there, itll take some welding on the frame. but its steel, and that is easy enough.
    Naked 93' F2...... RIP -- 04/12/07
04' 600RR Black - currently stuck between track and street usage
    - Brembo Master, Sato's, & Ohlins out back
