    No points.
    No accidents.
    ~11 years insured driving.
~11 years with same insurance company.

$13/month for just liability for the CBR 600.
    $26/month for liability + collision.

I also pay only $89/month for my '03 Maxima.

    State Farm.

UGH...All you 25 and over people... always getting the good rates Angry  I'm getting there, buddy, I'm getting there! LOL  I just turned 23 two weeks ago, soooo that means 1 year 11 months and 2 weeks from now, my rates will FINALLY go down too! Big Smile Seriously though, you got an awsome deal on yours.  I only wish I could find some that cheap, or even close to that.  Might I mention again that Geico had me up over $7000/year just for the bike??  YEA! hahahah... Is that rediculous or what!

Kewl, does Amica not do motorcycle insurance?  I couldn't find a link on their website for a motorcycle quote.

Re: Insurance for your bike... who do you have?

I thought they did, but then again I only checked on auto insurance a while back when I called'em. Based on an article I read, it seemed like they have a separate division for insuring motorcycles http://www.nationalunderwriter.com/pandc/nuonline/030804/P200409amica.asp (read the 3rd, 4th and 5th paragraphs) but I couldn't find a definitive answer online either. I'll try to remember to ask one of my agent relatives and get back to you.

from the article you can see that (insert Vinny Barbarino and Freddy "Boom Boom" Washington accent hereSmile) "Mr. Cotter" says he started a division (AGA) for that purpose, but I couldn't find a link for AGA anywhere.

Re: Insurance for your bike... who do you have?

73 bucks a year for liability on my bike thru progressive. My truck liability is 334 a year. Best birthday of my life was my 25th. Rates were cut in half. I'm 30 now and have one or two tickets but they will both be off my record in another 5 months or so. Guess it's about time to get another ticket.

I can't get statefarm yet because I have not had my license for 3 years.  I am going to go with liability for now with McGraw which will be $233 a year.

Re: Insurance for your bike... who do you have?

Depends on what state your in also? I live in NJ which really sucks. Everything is high out here and we finally got Gieco back.. But all the insurance companies like allstate and state farms are expensive. The only good company here is Rider insurance but only if u are over 21 if u are under 21 goodluck its very high for sportbikes. Your better off buying a cruiser or streetbike. Gieco is so far cheap with autos there not into bikes here yet.. I'm 31 and my 954 with full covage is $1500. still high but hey its jersey for u. If anyone is from jersey and thinking of buy a sportbike buy a 750 or less.  Or pay out of your ***.

Question.  I have a pending speeding ticket that I plan to fight but am still looking for insurance for my bike.  Do I need to let the insurance company know that I have a pending ticket?

How about for a ticket where I took traffic school?

No, don't tell them.  They won't even see it until it actually posts on your record.

    My buddy just got insured...

A 2003 Kawasaki Z1000 (Naked Liter bike, Financed)
Age 22, with clean driving record

Went through AIS auto insurance specialists to find best deal...
McGraw Insurance quoted $1600/yr for full coverage
    $400/yr for minimum liability

Re: Insurance for your bike... who do you have?

I just got insurance for my '02 F4i through Progressive.  A person at Progressive told me that they give an insurance break at 21, not 25 (or maybe just a bigger one at 21 than 25).  I had just turned 21, so I got my insurance for $332/yr, just liability.

Re: Insurance for your bike... who do you have?

A note on SF: They charge a lot more if you don't have a car through them. If you don't have a car with them, they will require proof that you have insurance on your car.

I pay $540/yr for max limits, collision/$500 deductible,  and no other policies with them. It would be $210/year if I had a car through them but they want more than $250 more for my car policies than I pay now.

Also, when people quote rates,  they should be sure to really indicate what their coverage is. A $1000 deductible saves $50/year, and lower liabilitiy limits could save me almost $200/year.

Re: Insurance for your bike... who do you have?

I'm here in Arlington and I cover my bike with State Farm.  $1072/yr for full coverage on my '01 F4i - and i'm an 18/m without a perfect history. . .

** update! **  screw state farm.  they dropped me this month over an accident and a couple 3 year old speeding tickets. . . TThhhhbbbbbbbbt!    =P

I'd rather be happy than right anyday.
