    Clean Cut Sliders

Courtesy of Fidget: I figured out one of the cleanest way to make the holes for you frame slider. Or at least cover them up. Follow the same instructions that are posted all over the board for getting the hole in the right place. But dont use a 2" hole saw. First go out to your local hardware store...Lowes, Home Depot, etc...and find a set of furniture gromets. The little plastics tubes that are in some desks to feed wires through. Get a set where your access hole (the hole in the middle) is around 2" or larger to clear the sliders. I bought some that were 2 3/8 in diameter with a 1/2 inch lip on the edge. Bought a 2 3/8 hole saw and I was all set. They fit in the hole flush and I dont have to worry about sanding the edges or having ugly holes in my fairings. I put some tape at the end of the gromet that was inside the fairing so that way it has a tight fit and wont vibrate out. Look pretty professional for $2.00. Well....the hole saw cost $13.00. But the gromets were $2.00
