alright i changed out the rear light. i just did that because i was gonna ride it around the neighborhood to see how it felt. so no more bulky square brake light!

The last time I  looked D&D was about the only full system that is still available. Many other manufactures offer slip ons for the stock headers.

Do you think it will be strong enough to hold a passenger?

Do you have any new pictures?

hey i just bought a 600rr tail for my hurricane and i was wondering if you could give me some more detailed pics of how and where the tail is mounted and also what seats are you using and what mods were involved for installing the tail ( did you have to move the ecu or brake resevior?)

i currently do not have a camera to take pix. i had to move the ecu into the battery case so it just sits in there. the brake resevior is still intact. i had to squeeze the radiator reserve to fit in. i'll try to borrow a camera from a friend to take pix.

i'm sure it can hold passengers since its just rests on the frame, but not heavy passengers or it'll crack the plastic. im planning on putting the solo-seat cowl on it. i'm also still trying to find the RR tail light.

i also had to make a small cut near the left-side tab so my gas line wouldnt get cut-off.

Loyloy, any updates? I have my tail, tail light, and just got a front and rear seat yesterday so I am ready to start the transformation. I did a test fit today and was wondering how you mounted them in the front, it looks like it might be hard to work around the petcock on the left side. Thanks

yea actually i was wondering if you had any updates also.  i put a 600rr tail on my bike and its about half finished right now...the rear of the tail is mounted and i also mounted a clear led brake light with integrated turn signals.  i dissasembled the stock seat and cut the seat pan to fit and then i shaped the foam according to the pan.  then i relocated my rear brake resevior and ecu and removed a couple of extra brackets on the rear subframe but right now im also looking for a spot to mount the tail in the front.  so far it looks pretty sweet
