F4i Plastic on the 'Cane (almost done)

Well guys, I got the F4i race plastic in and started working on it this weekend.  It didn't go as easy as the tail piece but we're getting there.  Here are a couple of pictures that we took.  Sorry about the poor quality but all we had at the time was a cell phone.  The top piece didn't need much work but the lower fairing required a bit of custom cutting.  We still don't have all the mounting done but you should get the jist of it.  I'll keep you all posted as it progresses.

Sorry that the first pictures were so bad but that's all we had at the time.  These next three pictures are a little bit better and you can actually see the progress we made.  All we really have left to do is mount the gauges back inside the fairing stay and put on the flush mount blinkers.  Other than that, all the mounting is done and we're going to wait before we try and tackle the headlight project.  If you guys have any suggustions on a good idea how mount a headlight I'd love to hear it.  I'll make sure and post some more pictures once everything is said and done...just keep watching.

I'd say so far I've put in about 10-15 hours on mounting the upper and lower fairing.  Most of this time was spent with a dremel tool cutting and shaving off bits of the fiberglass.  As for the paint job...I'm going to sand everything down and paint is all flat black with just a few decals.  I love the way flat black looks and it'll be nice and cheap.
