    Finally Done

Well guys, I'm finally done with upgrading the old 'Cane.  I know most of you guys like the original look but I needed to change mine up a bit.  Anyways, here is the final outcome...tell me what you think.

Here is where I mounted the headlight:

    And one final action shot:

You'd be amazed how bright the headlights are.  They are PIAA and trust me...they light up the road.

    Re: Finally Done

hey just wondering what model of piaa lights you used?  were they fog lights or driving lights and will it pass inspection with those?

    Re: Finally Done

Nice job on the body work.  Personally I would choose another kind of front light rather than the PIAA's.  Why not consider transplanting a stock f4i or maybe any old school twin headlight from say an FZR, heck even twin cat eyes with projection lights could be nice for the front upper fairing.  Either way, I like the rest of your work.  Congratulations.

    Re: Finally Done

    Wow!

That is one sweet looking mod you did there. Congrats!

You have anymore pics of mounting and whatnot? Tips for modding the seat?

    Awesome job again,

    Bryan D

PS - How much did the fairings cost?

    Re: Finally Done

I have a ton more pictures that I'll send out there, and I'll make a little write up on modding the seat this weekend.  Glad you all like it.

The entire fairing was around $500

    Re: Finally Done

Well guys, I'm getting ready to sell my baby and I know this isn't the right place to post it...but I thought I'd give all you Hurricane riders a chance to get it.  I'm asking $2,750 OBO for the bike and it's just had new tires, chain, sprockets, jet kit, and a battery put on this summer so you'll be good to go for a while.  You can obviously see that the body is all new, and at this time is only painted flat black.  Give me a shout if you're interested.  I'm located in Sioux Falls, SD and my email is diechrome@hotmail.com.
