New '96 CBR1000F owner with some questions

    New '96 CBR1000F owner with some questions

    Hey everyone, just picked up a CBR1000F, so far I'm enjoying it.. I have a few questions though.. what kind of aftermarkt do these things have? What are some good companies to deal with, and what are worthwhile mods? Does anyone have any pics of your bikes, so I can get some appearance ideas? Anything to look out for on these bikes/flaws, etc? Thanks in advance.

    I think the first question you need to ask is What are you trying to achieve?  Then go from there.  IMHO, doing mods for the sake of doing mods is pointless.

    I also just picked up the same bike. Mine has 14,600 miles, only slight cosmetic damage. Has Vance and Hines 4-1 and a K@N filter, other than that it looks stock. So far it looks/feels like it'll make a great sport-tourer.
