I changed the tail during the winter, using one from a 03 600rr. I think it looks pretty good, look at the before and after.

Looks good man -- an ass lift sure took a lot of years off. Looks like you got the front plastics fitting a bit tighter as well.

Is that seat from the new bike, or is it something you had to make?

The new tail looks sweet bro!  I love to see guys hook these older bikes up and update them.

What bike did your passenger pegs come from? Did they bolt right up?

The seat is stock from an 03 600rr. The pegs arefrom an F4 which bolted right on, it also allowed me to raise the pipe a bit.. A rather easy mod which I think makes the bike look so much better. I'm still not done, right now working on an undertail which I am creating using the tutorial posted here.  http://cbrworld.net/forums/thread/141151.aspx

Any plans on a Tutorial on how to do this and how to make the piece in between the side covers and the tank???

The side panels between the tank and seat are stock from an 03rr. I got the from Ronayers for like $9 each. They just needed to be trimmed a little to fit.

Did you just attach an 03 subframe to replace your old one? or does the plastic fit on an old sub frame?
