    MVR Exhaust?

Have you guys ever heard of an MVR Exhaust i think it stands for Michael Valesco Racing exhaust, iam pretty sure i have one on my bike, and was wondering if they are good, they seem very rare and there is little info on them. I am thinking of upgrding to a vance and hines S4 because the MVR has no baffles and cops do not like that very much lol.

    Re: MVR Exhaust?

hmm i think it has to hve baffles, and if it doesnt must have been removed. or its like my yoshi pipe and its a str8 through race baffle..

i would get a yoshi. they are kinda dual toned. deep throaty at low rpms, but when u get on it she opens and scream.. ( but i have the rs-3 with race baffle)

take some pics of the pipe bro Big Smile [:D]

    Re: MVR Exhaust?

if it isnt packed, you could be losing HP. and once its repacked you can notice the difference..

    Re: MVR Exhaust?

i'd love to repack it. the local bike shop (harley shop and only one around) doesn't have any. is there anything common used?? My boss said I can use the metal shavings from the lathe, claimed it would last longer. I've seen a vance and hines repacking kit for ~15$ but can't find it any longer. I'd like to do this ASAP  does anyone know what CAN be used as packing? fiber glass insulation???

    Re: MVR Exhaust?

hahaha, go ahead and use them but i wouldnt. he says this becasue its steel wool thtas wrapped around the baffle and then the fiberglass goes over the steel wool. the steel keeps the heat in the baffle and acts a "barrier" to the heat. you can find them on the net. really any repack kit will work aslong as its long enough in length and can be wrapped around so the baffle fits snugly into the canister...

    here is the fiberglass.

    Here is the steel wool.

    Re: MVR Exhaust?

hey! i have an mvr slip on on my bike, and from what i know it is real rare. not only that, it's loud as hell, my friend has an f3 with a yoshimura, and the only time i herd him over my bike was when his exhuast came loose. deffenitly one of the loudest exhausts iv'e heard for a bike. hey bladerunner00 if you get another exhaust i would be willing to buy yours, let me know.
