    I'm ready to ride

Hey Everyone, just thought i'd let you know i passed my course this weekend!!!!  Man on the first day...i'll admit it I was so bad!!!! I didn't know if i could make it through it...but as the weekend went on i got the hang of it...now i can't wait to get out.  I still need to practice a lot...esp with the right hand turns...man they are tuff...any hints?

    Congratulations!

Practice practice practice! Right hand turns are a bit harder at the beginning because that is your throttle hand. I went to an open parking lot and worked on big figure 8s, but only time and practice made them comfortable. I still notice at the track that I have a harder time getting off the bike and keeping my arms loose on the right side compared to my left.

Good luck and keep us posted!

    Ash

    Re: I'm ready to ride

Thanks for the advice!!  That is exactly what i have been doing...all parking lots all the time....i am working on the right hand turns...i figured out that i was looking at the wrong spot...i thought i was looking where i wanted to go, but really i wasn't...that is going to be tuff to get down.  I can't believe how my riding a bike is a confidence boster!!!  Wish i would have done this years ago.  The best part is my bike still isn't road ready so i get to work out my kinks on the BFs bike.  He's great...once fault...he's not a honda guy.
