    CBR600 F2 Rim on CBR600F Hurricane

Hi All: does anybody know if if a rim off a cbr600f2 will fit on a cbr600f hurricane. I would like to put a big rear tire on my bike. A friend has a rim off a F2 and a 160 tire I can have for free. I was wondering if anybody else has done this. With the stock rim I figure I can only go up 1 size to a 140 tire. Any info would be greatly apprieciated

i have actually done the swap.  but had to change the entire rear swing arm assembly from the f2.  it was pretty basic surgery(ie little grinding of the frame). the only real con that i have encountered so far is it sits a little(about 1 1/2") lower, causing the bike to stand straight up while on the kick stand. (will have to fix that later)  i cannot tell you how she handles, due to the fact i am currently rebuilding the carbs, trying to figure out a drivability ive been chasing before getting side tracted for the swap.(seemed like more fun).  ive also seen other posts on this sight with people who have also done the swap, might want to check those out also.
