Miguel has the 24th provisional place on the grid, but he feels he could have done better, if it wasn't for a fall during this session:
"In the morning session, we worked mainly in getting a feel for the bike again and getting up to the race pace, since we've been off the bike for a month now. I tried to gather as much information as possible, since the track references I had here were from racing in the Superbike category. We just tried to get the best set up for this track."
Unfortunately, in the afternoon, Miguel fell during the qualifying session, but he was ok:
"Right at the first laps, I was able to get a good lap time, and naturally I was expecting to improve on that. Unfortunately, after a few laps I lost the front going into a turn and I fell. It wasn't a serious fall as I didn't get injured, but I had to switch bikes, and so I lost about 20 minutes of the session, and also the second bike wasn't as well balanced as my main bike."
