I am just pissed that they are still using a Carbed F3 mill. Why the hell they didn't go with the F4i motor I have NO idea. It's not like the tooling dosent already exist.

Thanks for the reply, but those are the old 2004 Honda hornet/599. Here is the new 2007 which is totally redesigned and apparently comes with a new engine. 

Could it be an F4i engine?

It's not the F4i motor. Case covers are wrong.

Surely it will be fuel injected though. Not sure if I like the exhaust, but the rest of it looks hot. Can't wait to see the reviews. It may be something to look into for the wife.

looks like the 599 is discontinued and the 919 gets a different paint job...

where are you getting your information from? the 599 is due to get a radical redesign, an fi engine to comply... well, i suppose you are only looking at 599 in USA... that is possible, but the 599 is just the US name for the cb600f or the HORNET as they call it in europe, its one of the most popular bikes overseas and there is no way they would discontinue it, unless it was to replace it with something in the chategory... ide love to know how you came to those conclusions... thanks.

i was just looking at Honda's website where they haven't said anything about a new 599 and they show an 07 919 with nothing new except paint.  Last year they didn't announce that they weren't going to make the superhawk anymore, they just didn't.  It's the same this year with the RC51.

2006 Honda CBR600F4i

Looks like the new CB600F is out and lookin' pretty hot.  Oh man.  New chassis, ~50lbs lighter, detuned 600RR engine (~100hp), and definately a sleek and menacing new look.  I like it.  A lot.

currently bikeless, but plan on changing that by getting a '06 F4i early next year

boy have i been waiting for this, i am impressed to no end on this bike, i use to own a 2004 honda hornet and i loved it, until i totalled it in a pretty serious accident.

i am one again in love with an amazing product, of course, only honda could do this :-)

buying a house? paying off student loans?

i now have a new goal in life! 2007 honda cb600f, here i come !

they sure do richard :-) , i know honda does on their 599 anyways, not sure about others, but i am pretty sure its a universal concept.

and yes, the 07 hornet is in europe only for now, it would be nice to see it here in the US.

How do "Standards" do for wind protection?  I know my bike with the factory wind shield dosan't do a great job, I can only imagine what its like with little too no wind shield.
