Recall on the CBR1000rr?

    Recall on the CBR1000rr?

    Has anyone heard of any recalls lately on the CBR1000? Something to do with the gas tank? BTW my name is Brandon, I'm new around here. Going to sign for my Repsol on sat. PUMPED!

    yeah i got a letter in the mail about a week or two ago! have not checked on it though, everything working good!

    What years are being recalled? I just picked up an 07 cbr1000rr 2 weeks ago and have about 400 miles on it- rear brake is very weak and front squeeks.All else seems ok.

    brought my bike in and they sched. an appoint. for me to come in later this week and get it replaced its only for the 06 1krr!

    I believe it has something to do with rust forming in the tank, causing a leak, or something of that nature.....I'm not sure of what years are affected, though.
