Hi there guys!
First off, I want to say I think this is a great forum, I've been reading it for some time.
It's quite popular around here to mount the liscense plate on F2/F3 bikes to the seatpan.
I was bored over Christmas and went ahead without really thinking about the implications of said mod. I made a bracket to fasten the stock light in the fender to light the plate but now looking at it, I question whether or not I will find myself in trouble with the law.
So for your consideration:

*EDIT* Here's another picture, maybe gives a little better idea.

If the officers in the crowd could comment, I would much appreciate it as I still have some time to figure out what to do about it before riding season comes about, if need be. I live in NB, Canada.
Thanks so much!
Jason
*EDIT* Thanks for the responses so far!
I know it's not legal but just wanted some ideas as to how much I'll get hasseled (understandably so). I see them around here quite frequently and I've never heard anyone say anything. Actually, a gixxer buddy rides with his plate off altogether, keeps it in the trunk. If the general consensus is that I'm going to be bothered, how do people think I ought to go about fixing it? I could probably make my own fender eliminator type thing out of sheet metal and get short stalk blinkers. Or I could just mount the plate where the blinkers are now and get short stalks, I don't know. I never should have cut my fender off to begin with, much less to the extent that it is now. Thanks again for the responses!
