After the summer break, Miguel tells us:
"It was really good to be back riding the bike. Today's free practice was essentialy to get used to the bike again, and to the rythm of the competition"
After achieving the 29th best time on the first qualifying session:
"I lost some time getting to know the new part of the track, which is actually quite strange, and very different from before. Even though my laptim wasn't rewarded with a better grid position, the fact is that we are closer than ever to the top 15 laptimes" said Miguel, after realising he was only 1 secong off the top 15.
"This gives us some hope that we can get a good result in the race, hopefully score a point or two. Tomorrow I'll try even harder to get a better grid position, since I keep getting faster with the more I ride the bike and understand its reaction on the limit. So I'm here hoping for a good second qualifying session tomorrow..."
