Some things to keep in mind for you buyers, sellers, and browsers:
- CBRWorld is NOT Ebay. All transactions that occur here are at risk of the members involved. CBRWorld will allow all members to use this section as a medium to advertise but assumes no responsibility or liability for any criminal acts, misrepresentations, or misconduct performed by any member.
- Do NOT advertise your classified ad on the rest of the board! The CBRWorld posting guidelines (which you agreed to follow when you registered) clearly state this.
For you buyers:
- Because we are not Ebay, CBRWorld does not offer any buyer protection services or the like. Therefore, you assume all risk of any transaction. Make sure you are aware of who you are dealing with. Ask all the necessary questions of the seller to make sure you are comfortable with the transaction.
- If someone is selling an item similar to yours, don't jump on that person's thread advertising your item.
For you sellers:
- Buyers, post pics of your product. You'll likely be asked for them anyway. This will help your sale go quicker and smoother.
- Make sure your contact info is current and included in your post.
- Be as descriptive as possible about your product. Try to pre-emptively answer questions that most buyers would ask you.
For browsers:
- If you disagree with a price, keep it to yourself. The buyer has set the price. If you don't like it don't buy it and move on. If you really feel strongly about it, then PM the seller. Such posts will be deleted.
- If someone is looking for a product, don't say things like Have you checked Ebay or Craigslist??? Such posts will be deleted. Its highly likely they already checked those sources and your post adds no value to the thread. If there is a similar item on an online auction site, then do the member a favor and post a link to it.
