"The bike started sliding a LOT from the rear. It was simply becoming impossible to go through the corners. I was taking too many risks just to go round the track, and I decided to enter the pits. In that situation, I just had to make a decision and I prefered not to risk a fall. It was just plain dangerous, the way it was sliding, and due to the high temperatures, specially the track surface, all that could have caused serious problems to the tire, which I couldn't see, but could feel."
