More Small cc 2-stroke (european) bikes!

Well I was reading several threads here, looking at the Honda NSR and Aprilia RS50/125/250 and even though I really like them, my favorite of all was missing....

    The Cagiva Mito (Evo):

(The Evo is the second generation, I think that the first generation was called Cagiva Mito Lawrence, but don’t quote me on that) anyways I was looking for photos to post, and I cam across the 2008 model:

I’m conflicted, I loooove the 748/916/996/998 styling on the bike, but this new one looks pretty good too, (well, it is not all praise in my opinion, quite frankly it looks like an alien with those lights) but hell, if I were back in Italy, and could get one, I would)

I had a friend that had one of the first generations took the 11kW (~15hp) restriction off (I don’t know how, but might be able to find out) he claimed that without restrictions it would top out at 180Km/h (~112mph) Stick out tongue gotta love that 2-stroke 125cc.

So a little research on the official Italian website revels that the new Mito is called "Mito SP525" it is a single cylinder 125cc 2 stroke, but they decided to leave the 5 in the Hundreds place to reminisce of when Valentino Rossi won in 1994? (or something like that).

here is the tech spech sheet (Italian/English): http://www.cagiva.it/Tools/download.aspx?file=/upload/ProductsDownload/file/f_121.pdf&name=f_121.pdf&lng=4" target="_blank" title="http://www.cagiva.it/Tools/download.aspx?file=/upload/ProductsDownload/file/f_121.pdf&name=f_121.pdf&lng=4">http://www.cagiva.it/Tools/download.aspx?file=/upload/ProductsDownload/file/f_121.pdf&name=f_121.pdf&lng=4  , It has Brembo breaks Big Smile wonder what it tops out at without limitations Confused

This is a different bike that I had my eyes on when I was 16/17 together with the CBR125R, it’s the Sachs Xtc 125:

Not gunna lie, looks less impressive now that I have just seen the new Mito Sad
