HI EVERYONE, Here are some pictures of my custom F3. I was able to get a set of R1 pipes from a friend. I moded my F3 to fit them and now my bike sounds like a monster and I love it.

dude u should post a "how to" for the tail mod you did...looks sick.
is that a custom tail? or the R1 mod?

I would love to do a write up on the tail but I don't have the time to take it all apart, take pictures, and post the info. I had a accident at work and ripped two disc in my back. So I am kinda limited at what I can at this moment. Keep checking back though because I should have this fairing thing licked in a couple of months. I still plan to sell these custom F3/R1 fairings so keep a eye open.

It was not that hard. Take off your tail fairings. and just think about it for a second. You know that the R1 pipes rest under the tail like they are hanging. Take a set of R1 pipes and put them up to your F3 and use your imagination like I did. I did the same thing and saw that I would need to change the rear of my subframe. What I did was draw a picture on paper of how I want the subframe to look. The end of the subframe looked like a triangle like the R1 subframe. So I had my subframe cut and added some additional stock steel tubing to make this shape. With the modifications I made the pipes rested under the tail like the R1. The rest was running the pipe works to the header, moving the electronics around and doing the bodyworks. Thats pretty much it in a nutshell.

as far as I've been able to figure out, ur tail is an R1 mod, and you will be selling the fairings you have, which you've made yourself, but would the tail fairings work? I ask that because as far as I know you cut and bended your subframe, and that is why yours looks so friggin awesome. so even if you were to sell the custom tail fairings, it wouldn't just fit a regular f3 bc the subframe is diff. from yours.

or am i misunderstanding?

and you can definitely sing me up for the front fairing ull be selling.

and if you can make a tail fairing that can be installed without doing a hecka lot of work and that it can semi look as amazing as yours, you can sign me up too. tho, I would like to talk about it wiht u more.

What I plan on doing is first making a custom fairing such as the F3/R1 upper fairing. I will make a replica available for purchase. Second I plan to make a custom tail also that will work with your F3. It will require a 97 taillight and fit all F3s and F2s. It will maybe be a F3 tail and CBR 1000RR tail mixed together. You will be able to have it painted and just mount in a matter of minutes. You will not have to change your subframe. The F3/R1 solo tail requires alot of modifications to the subframe. If I sold that tail you would have to modify your bike around the tail and thats alot of work to make it all fit just right. So I hope this helps you understand my intent.

valkyie. i just saw the youtube video. the bike looks fantastic and sounds great. very nice work and two thumbs up. the lil humming noise or song whatever u wanna call it you make in the video is soo funny. i was dieing. nice!! oh yea are you missing bar ends on your bike? seems like there not on the bike
