  I know this sounds incredibly stupid but I got into riding with my ex who took care of the bike.  How do I remove the seat on my bike so I can get at the battery?  Go figure-the one thing I didn't pay attention too.  Thanks.

the rear corners of the seat jus bend upwards.  underneath each side ull find a bolt requiring a 5mm hex head.  unbolt those n itll come right off.
