    Icon gloves

so i purchased a pair of the Icon Accelerant golves over the winter and got to try them out the past week.

not all that impressed. they fit good in the store and i thought they would suffice for my riding needs (no track use, just mild knuckle armor, and good for middle of summer heat), but now that ive ridden with them they just feel a little awkward.

hopefully i just have to wear them in a bit more. it just sucks because im a broke college kid and prolly wont get a new pair till fall.

    just an FYI

    Re: Icon gloves

maybe they need to be broken in more? my held phantoms  gloves are still a little tight compared to my friends. he accidentally put mines on last Saturday and thought 'jeez, these things are tight." we're same sized gloves. i shoudl've taken his instead since they're more comfy. LOL same goes for my helimot gloves. i think my cheaper gloves broke in much faster than these set.

maybe you just need to ride more on them. mine (phantoms), after 1 trackday, 1 race day, a few days in the street, are still somewhat tight. i even used them a few times on my scooter to break them in further. a couple of times, i used them to drive the car to break them in when they were new!

That's a pretty good idea, i just got myself some new gloves and rather than be uncomfortable witht them I'll use em while driving the car :)

I think you just need to wear them more often to break them in...

    Re: Icon gloves

I've got the same gloves, and the same problem.  Fit great when I got them, now they suck.  They bunch up at the fingertips, and like to ride up while riding.

I'm investing in better gloves next time...  GP Pros.
