    hurricane catwalks.... anyone good with this bike

    i'm a new rider as of like two months ago and i was just wondering if anyone's very good with the bike i have. i can get it up in first i just cant really hold it . not used to it.. any help would be nice

    I think everyone has this problem when they start to do wheelies... First of all, are you clutching it up? Assuming you're doing a sit down clutch up, do it at about 20 mph, if it doesn't come up that high, slow back down to about 20, and give it a little more gas until it comes up higher. While the bike is coming up, keep on the throttle, or all it's gonna do is slam back down. Once you pretty much have to look around the tank to see, you're at balance point. One thing though, keep your foot over the rear brake, I can't stress this enough...Looping a bike isn't fun at all, I've done it before cause I never covered the back brake. So wile you're one the wheelie, and if you kinda feel the bike drop too far backwards, let off the throttle, and hit the brake, but like I said before, you're not at balance point until you have to look around the tank.
    96 F3, 98 motor, Vanes and Hines headers and mid pipe with cut Yoshi can, K&N filter, Stage 1 Dyno Jet Kit, dirtbike shifter to eliminate linkage and reverse it as well, naked with racing 905 stunt cage and 12 bar, hand brake, Goodridge kevlar lines in front with 2007 GSX-R radial master cylinder
