02 F4i headlights and Front Fairing to 03 600RR fairing and lights

Hey everyone. I just want some insight and maybe guidance on if this is even possible. I want to convert the front end because I don't like the headlights. Let me know something. Thanks.

Re: 02 F4i headlights and Front Fairing to 03 600RR fairing and lights

Okay so you want to change from a F4I to a 600RR upper fairing? I changed my F3 to a R1 from end. First if I was you I would buy a cheap 600RR fairing from ebay so that you can size things up. Once you have it remove you F4I fairing and mock up in place by finding a way to hang it on the bike. You might need to buy a stay or make a temp stay for now. Hang it on the bike keeping in mind to retain the same headlight projection angle and clearance of the handle bars with full motion from left to right. Also keep proper wind protection in mind also. With all these observations in mind step back and look at the bike from the side, front ,rear and the mounted position. How does it look are you cool with it.

Now that you have it in place all you have to do is figure out how to mount it to your fairings. I think the best thing to do would be to fashion the 600 RR fairing to fit you F4I lower fairings just like I did with my bike. In english I joined the two fairings together using the lower portion of my F3 fairing and the upper portion I molded it with the R1 fairing. I not sure how it would work because of those two big air intakes of the F4I So I hope this helps . Email me at cjgoals@yahoo.com and I will send you some pictures of a molded F4I fairing to F3 fairing and maybe that my give you some ideas. If you have any questions just hit me up.
