weird vibration that I can't seem to figure out?

Hello everyone?? I am new to the website and I am new to the sportbike world. My name is Mike and I am proud owner of a 2002 CBR F4i, and I love the bike it is awesome!!!

However, I know that I have that CCT problem because I am getting the rattling noise around 5000rpms. I am going to get that fixed by my friend who is a mechanic. By the way to fix that they don't need to open up the engine do they, that's external right?

But the other problem I am having is one that I seen on here but no one went into detail about, but it's a vibration in the foot pegs at certain speeds on the highway. It always happens when I let off the gas, always, it is so annoying but I give it gas it goes away. But it feels like something is grinding sort of but it's a vibration. I took it for a spin today and it was doing it at 60mph in 6th gear but not as bad as it does when I am on the highway.
I hope it is just part of that whole CCT problem that these bikes have but I am really not sure. I could use some help guys so if you have anything for me I really appreciate it!! Thank you very much in advance.

Your issues are separate.  CCTL is on the back of the engine.  Just hard to reach.

For the foot pedal issue check your chain.  Not only the tightness/looseness but if there is any binding.

I just replacement my chain/sprockets and tires and an engine miss that I thought I had went away.  Apparently it was the binding on the chain.  Runs real smooth now.

Yeah I haven't really checked for any binding on the chain. It does need to be tightened but it really is not that loose there is some play but I don't think it's to bad. Could that cause the vibration? When you say binding what does that mean??? I am very illiterate with bikes, is that just where the indiviual chain links are not aligned?
Hey when I first got the bike I scrubbed down the chain with a wire brush to get all the gunk out of the chain. I do the same thing with my quad and it works really good so I figured I would do the same. Do you think that could cause a problem with the chain??

I am by no means an expert, but shouldnt you use a softer plastic brush to clean the chain? Won't a wire brush damage the o-rings?

In general though I can also vouch for a worn chain causing footpeg vibrations. It is quite unlikely that a chain will wear evenly so you will get tight spots, etc .
