what is the diffrences between a fj and fk

    what is the diffrences between a fj and fk

    i have been givven a cbr600 fk engin what is the diffrences betwen the fj that i have go and the fk, are they interchanable or not and are they a better engin. can any one help me cos they look the same

    As far as I am aware there is no difference, just that the FJ is a year older. They didn't overhaul the CBR until 1990 so the FK engine will bolt straight onto the FJ frame with no fuss. Hope this sets things straight for you.

    Late 90s as i have a 90 F1 and my dads got a 90 F2 but as above if the engine looks the same it will fit
    loopy by name loopy by nature!!!
