f4,f4i motor to f2 frame

    f4,f4i motor to f2 frame

    will and f4 or f4i motor fit in an f2 frame without mods????

    No it wont. But an F3 engine can be installed if you notch the F2 frame rail for the F3 TPS sensor on the carbs.

    i think the f2 and f3 engines are same right. same horsepower

    nope. piston, combustion chamber, and camshafts are different (IIRC). also, the F3 carbs are larger and the ECU is designed to handle it and the ram-air thats included.

    most sportbikes use the engine as a stressed mount for the swingarm... so unless the frame/swingarm combo is the same, ull hardly ever get a diff engine in there. a few ppl have done 929 engines into an F2 frame, but again that required heavy frame mods like SoCal said. if u r a good welder, anything is possible...
