    Continued discussion

Just wanted to respond briefly to the "CBR owning coppers" post that was locked.  I disagree that we are either a hypocrite or are posing as something we're not just because we ride a fast bike.  A lot of guys just like owning a fast bike, they don't necessarily ride it at track speeds on the street.  It's just cool to have.  I don't pretend to be a racer, and that's why I ride a race replica and not a race bike on the street.  I don't have to ride like a jerk or an idiot to enjoy the ride.  So I'm not a poser or a hypocrite.  That was a pointless, inflammatory post by a troll.

how do you know 'the b!tch' is fast then?

so you enjoy riding thru town all cramped up, with dodgy forward vision, harsh supension and using maybe 1/10th of the bike's power?

    Re: Continued discussion

Tongpo, what is your reasoning for asking this question specifically of police officers???  [BTW, that is a rhetorical question].

It seems that your only intent here is to discredit any sportbike-owning police officer who doesn't abide by the posted speed limits when they are riding a sportbike (on their own personal time).  If that is indeed your intent, please do not continue down that path

This section is intended for those who wish to truly seek advice from their fellow members who are also law enforcement officers.  CBRWorld appreciates the time and effort these officers give here.  Many of our members appreciate the job they do as they protect put their lives on the line for our safety EVERYDAY.  Please show some respect.
