Cylinder head torx bolt stripped.....Please help!!!!!

    Hi,

Upon removing the cylinder head off of a 02 F4i to replace the valve guide seals, I stripped one of the 3 aluminum torx bolts that run along the center of the head between the intake and exhaust valves. I managed to back it out half way before it stripped. Why did I I even touch it.........I was stupid and it was my first time opening up an F4i engine. The cyclinder head is now apart but I can't seem to find this OEM part because it's not listed in the schematics.

Do these 3 torx bolts serve any purpose? Upon examination, it looks like it doesn't serve a purpose as there are no passage ways or opening tending towards it. I've concluded that these must be some sort of caps for the molding/casting process when manufacturing the heads from the factory.........I'm really quite clueless and really need some insight.

Thanks in advance and hopefully you guys can help me.

Are the torx bolts in the images on this site under cylinder head or cylinder head cover?

It should give you a part number to take to your dealer if they are:
