The new 2005 Kawasaki ZX6 (both the 636 and the 600 versions) have been officially announced, and heads will be turning to look at the new redesigned green machines.
The new Kawasaki middle-weight sportbikes suffered a major redesign, where an even more aggressive look was achieved, specially by the use of the now fashionable underseat exhaust. One of the objectives of the redesign was to make it more aerodynamic, which it seems was one of the less good points about the current model. Even integrated turnsignals were used this time ! New suspensions and some changes to the swingarm are noticeable. Even though it was not mentioned yet, it is easy to see in one picture that it seems to have an exhaust valve (like many litre class sportbikes), which should help get a better mid-range.
Detailed technical data was not disclosured, but some pictures are available to appreciate the new Kawasaki efforts in the supersport class.
